The BassXpress 548 is for serious fishos who prefer a mid-sized stable fishing boat with heaps of room and storage. With a very generous beam of 2.25M and 3.0mm aluminium construction including all decking, the 548 offers heaps of deck space and stability. All of the same features as the 498 but featuring a longer rod locker (up to 2.3M rods), larger step storage and bigger fuel tank.
It includes a variety of angler-friendly features to make the day on the water a pleasurable one. Features a large forward fishing platform with heaps of storage and full size rod locker capable of holding rods up to 2.1M. All storage compartments feature compressions hatches, re-enforced & painted on the underside and carpet lined to protect your valuable gear. And all forward storage compartments are lockable with keyed-alike 316 stainless steel locks to keep your gear safe.
Rod locker features LED lighting, space for plenty of rods with butt supports and bungee strap. Forward battery boxes pre-wired to the Push n Lock connectors for reliable electric motor connection. Step and rear storage boxes can be used as ice chests if so desired and are plumbed for drainage. A plumbed and dividable 90L live well is standard. A generous steering console can accommodate analogue instruments as well as up to 12” MFD. German-made UV-stable marine carpet over aluminium decking for comfort under foot or choose EVA or combination carpet/EVA deck coverings. No timber used in our boats anywhere!
Whether you’re fishing for bream, murray cod or whatever else you fish for, this is a great all rounder. You'll appreciate the superb handling at all speeds and the stability at rest that makes it a sheer joy to fish out of. And you don't need huge horsepower to make this hull boogie, a 115 will push it to around 100 kph and come on the plane effortlessly with its hole shot design.
