The new generation BassXpress 548 based on the new Z hull, a stepped strake hull for even better hole shop and sunning stability. Self draining decking with waterproof storage compartments with rubber compression seals. A 100L insulated live well that is reticulated and can be divided. using the waterflow divider panel. A full length rod locker on the portside and centre locker now doubles as general storage and upper full length rod locker (able to hold rods exceeding 2.4m). or the entire centre compartment is available for rod storing even more rods And now even more leg room for the driver featuring a 15 foot rest and room for a hotfoot. An extended storage compartment on the starboard side ahead of the driver facilitates general gear stored and is long enough for the anchor light pole and can also accommodate the deep cycle battery.
As usual 3.0mm 5052 alu-alloy throughout with welded longitudinal stringers and box section gussets for absolute rigidity and hull strength. Combined with expanding flotation foam throughout all available underfloor cavities and around the live well and rear storage compartments makes the boat not only unsinkable (level flotation rating) but also very quiet,, feeling just like a fibreglass hull on the water. No slap-slap-slap from the waves when at rest, nice and quiet. How about 3-layer EVA decking. Now standard, with EVA and carpet combination optionally available. All storage compartments feature waterproof compressions hatches, are re-enforced & painted on the underside with non-glare finish and compartments are carpet lined to protect your valuable gear. And all forward storage compartments are lockable with keyed-alike generous hatch locks to keep your gear safe, as are the two rear storage compartments.
All forward locker features auto On/Off LED strip lighting, space for plenty of rods with butt supports and bungee straps. Battery storage just ahead of the driver's console in the starboard compartment. Push n Lock connectors for reliable electric motor connection and pre-wired back to the deep cycle battery compartment. Step and rear storage boxes can be used as ice chests, if so desired and are plumbed for drainage. A generous steering console can accommodate analogue instruments as well as up to 12” MFD.
Whether you’re fishing the ABT, club comps or just having fun catching bream, murray cod or whatever else you fish for, this is just an amazing boat with plenty of room for 304 people.
